Our goal is to bring in more pilots and generate excitement through our events and opportunities for learning and growth.
What We Offer
Our Northeast Nebraska Aviators Group is dedicated to adding value to your membership. From learning and growing as a pilot with classes to booking time in our simulator, we have something for every level of aviation enthusiast.
No Buy-in
Unlike other aviator groups you don’t have to spend large amounts of money to buy a shared plane. You can rent time in our Piper Cherokee PA28-180 and learn how to fly or stay current for less!
Everybody can join!
With NENA every kind of aviator is welcome. From seasoned pilots to those wanting to get started in aviation, or our yearly events like MayDay Stol Drag, our simulator – there’s something for everyone.

The Annual MayDay STOL Drag Races
Every year in the spring, the Northeast Nebraska Aviators Group proudly hosts the MayDay STOL Drag races right in Wayne, Nebraska. High flyin, short landing, drag racing airplane action!
OUR AIRPORT
Wayne Municipal Airport
The Wayne Municipal Airport and Stan Morris Field is located at 42º14’23″N 96º59’01″W. With three runways and an elevation of 1430′ our airport is also operated FBO by Becker Flying Service.
